our MISSION
Our mission is to successfully sell, manufacture and distribute consistent quality food products to customers throughout the United States. Our focus is on quality throughout the organization through our most important assets: our people. We realize that our financial success depend on our successes with customers by providing quality products for a fair price. We will search for growing customers that demand excellence and strive to meet their expectations consistently, thereby creating relationships for long-term mutual benefit.
— OUR HISTORY —
Our story begins in a small town
The company began operations during the summer of 2001 using multiple rented spaces in the small town of Brundidge, Alabama. The city of Brundidge offered all of the prerequisites for food manufacturing, and city officials worked diligently with Southern Classic to help put the project together. Initially, Southern Classic leased facilities to begin operations, but has since built a 235,000 square foot manufacturing facility which produces a variety of specialty products ranging from vinegar to premium dressing product.
— OUR STANDARD —
Our company has grown because we are committed to fulfilling our mission statement of working with growing companies and
doing what we say we will do.
Sometimes this has not worked to a positive financial result, but our mindset is that by doing what’s right by our customers, the long term effect will be positive for both parties.
We are Safe Quality Food Level II certified, and take pride in this accomplishment. The Safe Quality Foods Program (SQF) is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is recognized by retailers and food service providers around the world that require a rigorous, credible food safety management system.
